Another legal bump in the road for General Motors. Now, a lawsuit has been filed by more than 600 people. They say they had GM cars recalled for faulty ignition switches and suffered injures, or are related to someone who died in a crash. They filed the lawsuit because they say they are not covered in the victims compensation program. Their problems came apparently after the bankruptcy. the law suit was filed in New York. The lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court names 29 people who wer...

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- A rocky week for General Motors has drawn to a close. The congressional testimony captured the headlines, but there's one image I can't get out of my mind.

It's this one: "I'm very disappointed, really. As a woman to a woman, I am very disappointed because the culture that you are representing here today is a culture of the status quo," said Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) to GM CEO Mary Barra

Where did that comment come from? #disrespect

But it's more than that. It's a personal attack on Barra because of what she is: a woman. Aren't our elected officials, especially inside the United States Senate, supposed to represent us, not as white or black or men or women, but as Americans? It's my view that the comment Sen. Boxer made is an insult to all of us and she owes Mary Barra a personal apology.

And while she's at it she might want to apologize to all women who were offended by the comment. I've heard from a lot of them already. And let's add men to the list too.

It's my view that many women could direct Boxer's very words right back to the Senator herself.
