Police warn of South Loop burglaries

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are warning residents of the South Loop about three burglaries that happened on the same block on the same day in March.

In each of the incidents, the burglar forcibly entered a home while residents were away and stole computer equipment, jewelry and credit cards, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

All three burglaries happened on March 26 in the 800 block of South Wells Street between 7 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., police said.
