Technology security and safety flaws

When the iPhone, Xbox and PlayStation came out, there were some glitches -- annoying, but not unsafe. Now, however, we're learning of high-tech security and safety flaws in those products and others.

A major security flaw was discovered recently in the iOS7 and iOS7.1 systems, making it impossible to recover stolen iPhone. Basically, thieves can break into the phone and wipe it clean, no matter if you have a password and code and even if the find my iPhone app is on.

Here's another high-tech flaw discovered recently: nest labs, which makes a smoke detector that turns off if you wave at it, found that users were inadvertently putting it into sleep mode.

And a 5-year-old boy found a flaw in the Xbox recently because he was able to break into his father's Xbox account. Don't ask me how, but he did.
