What you need to know about Tuesday’s D.C. Democratic primary elections

WASHINGTON - Voters in the District will decide which Democratic candidate for mayor they want to send to the polls in November.

143 voting sites will be open from 7 a.m. Tuesday until 8 p.m.

Those not registered to vote can still sign up Tuesday.
         
The winner of the primary race will face independent council-member David Catania in the General Election.
         
Also to be decided Tuesday are D.C. council races, D.C.’s congressional delegate seat and shadow representative.
