Rare Babe Ruth video emerges

What better time than now to take a look at some recently discovered rare footage of two of the games all-time greats.

These images of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig at Yankees Stadium were uncovered by a Baseball Hall of Fame curator who was looking through old film at the University of South Carolina.

Ruth, seen in the foreground, is about to play his first game of the 1925 season after returning from an injury.

While Gehrig, seated in the dugout on the left of your screen, is waiting to play in the game that would begin his incredible streak of consecutive games played, a record that would later fall to Cal Ripken, Jr. the date was June 1st, 1925.
