Stolen puppy returned to Brooklyn pet store

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Earlier in the week, we reported that three men entered Puppy Paradise on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon and stole a 9-week-old shih tzu named Pal. One man stood watch as the other two went in the private puppy room to grab Pal.

The dog-nappers were caught on camera.

Well, here is some good news to report... a couple of days after our report aired, the store called and told us Pal was dropped off!

The store owners had contacted police... But in the end, they just wanted the puppy back... No questions asked.

The store sells shih tzus for $1,000. They were sure the guys who stole the puppy did it to make a profit.

The store owners say they were just concerned for the puppy's we'll being and worried whoever took him wouldn't properly care for him.

Now that the puppy is back safely, they're hoping that someone will come and give Pal a good home.
