On Saturday a group of people will continue to search for dead dogs that were left behind after the snow melted this week Rouge Park.

A city employee discovered two deceased canines as temperatures warmed and deep snow piles gave way.

Many of the dogs are disfigured, have scars or severe cuts.  It's gruesome.

Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) board member Nicole Litzelman is organizing a search for more of the animals on Saturday at Noon.  The address is: 21601 Plymouth.

The park is located at West Outer Drive between Plymouth Road and West Warren Avenue.
