An Amber Alert out of Virginia has been canceled after a missing 11-year-old boy was found. Police believed the suspect could have been headed to Arizona.

Michigan State Police Lt. Michael Shaw tells WJBK that Lucas Guinn was recovered Friday in the state of Virginia.

Both the boy and Jimmy Guinn were reportedly found during a traffic stop in southwest Virginia.

The suspect is in police custody.

No further details were released.

Police say Jimmy Guinn, a relative of the 11-year-old Lucas Guinn, kidnapped him from school and feared the boy was in extreme danger.

Local authorities were notified because the suspect apparently has ties to Scottsdale and Surprise.
