Here's the info told you about on Laura's Likes!

Local entrepreneur CJ Isakow created Eyebloc after a webcam belonging to Miss Teen USA was hacked, and pictures taken of her in her bedroom were used to blackmail her.  So, Isakow developed the product, which protects you and your family from being spied on through laptops and tablets.

Eyebloc was created with a 3D printer, and it launched about six months ago. It fits on an iPad, tablet, Kindle Fire and on laptops.  You'll need to remove it to close your laptop, and it doesn't fit desktop computers.

Eyebloc will cost you about $6, or $14.00 for a three-pack.  You can find it on the company website, or through

Protecting your Apple keyboard is easier than ever now.  The iSkin Protector fits certain Macbook keyboards and the Apple wireless keyboard.  It protects them from food spills, dust, dirt, hair, fur and other things that can lodge between your keys.

The ultra thin silicone protector has a line of cool patterns, and there's one for kids!  They protect, and help teach them to use a keyboard.  Colors on the iSkin highlight left and right hand key characters, vowels, numbers and functions.

There's also a line for the visually-impaired so that they can see the letters more clearly.  They're BPA, phthalate and lead-free.

iSkin is easy to put on and take off, and you can even wash it to get the bacteria off.  They're $25 each, and you can find them on

Looking for a cool way to prevent major injuries?  Try the Wipeout Dry Erase Helmet.  They launched less than a year ago, and have already received several parent-approved awards.

Kids decorate their helmets any way they want, and it comes with stencils and dry-erase pens to make it fun.  When they're ready to change their design, they can wipe them out, and start again.

The helmet is made of quality materials, and is great for biking, skateboarding, roller skating and more.  You can find out more about them on

They're available through Amazon and several other retailers.  The company, Triple 8, is about to launch protective pads with the same dry erase function.
