PHILADELPHIA -

The winds are the big issue out there Thursday morning for the entire area after a cold front came through.

We've got a Wind Advisory in effect until 11a.m., and we've seen gusts near 40 mph at times in Philadelphia and near 50 degrees in places like Dover and Atlantic City.

Temperatures started out in the teens and lower 20s, and that's at least 25 degrees colder than we were Wednesday at the same time when things were so tranquil.

They were the opposite of tranquil last night and in the early hours of Thursday.

Be careful on the roads, there may be some black ice. In the Pocono Mountains, we're watching out for some wet snowflakes. There could be a flurry or two elsewhere by tomorrow morning.

CHECK: Latest Traffic Conditions

Expect things to stay windy and cold with a high of 33.

Things get a little better as the winds calm down Friday and we reach a high of 48.

SLIDESHOW: Temperatures, Wind Chills & Gusts

We'll get briefly warmer on Saturday, but cold air returns, and we're looking at the possibility of some snow Sunday night into Saint Patrick's Day on Monday, with temperatures in the 30s both days.

And things still look a little iffy on Tuesday and Wednesday to round out your seven-day forecast.

FOX 29's Sue Serio and Kacie McDonnell have the latest on the latest weather and road conditions all morning long.
