Juvenile Ejected From Vehicle in AC Expressway Crash

WINSLOW TWP., N.J. -

The westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway were closed for several hours on Sunday after a single vehicle accident sent several people to the hospital.

New Jersey State Police say a call came in at approximately 2:39pm on Sunday for a single vehicle accident in Winslow Township. Upon arriving on scene, crews discovered a white Mitsubishi sedan that had crashed into trees on the side of the road. A juvenile was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Five people were injured in all.

Two medical choppers were called to the scene and transported injured victims to area hospitals. No word yet on the extent of the injuries.
