Blind Man Survives After Being Struck By Subway Train

Posted: Updated:

A blind man survives after being run over by a train at Los Angeles metro station.

The unidentified, forty seven year old, was using his cane to feel his way toward the edge of the subway platform.

Despite the warning honks to back away from the edge by the operator of the incoming red line train, the man fell and tumbled into the track bed as the train approached.

A passenger captured the video on his cell phone.

He was trapped underneath the train for close to twenty minutes before being rescued.

Fortunately he is expected to make a full recovery.
