OBAMA HEALTHCARE TOWNHALL 11:00 a.m. Obamacare is heading towards its 6th month of implementation, and the White House is still trying to explain how it works, and who it's supposed to work for. Today at the Newseum President Obama will hold a town hall focusing on the importance of Latinos capitalizing on the benefits of the Affordable Care Act and enrolling in quality, affordable health insurance. The town hall is hosted by the Asegurate campaign. The town hall will be streamed live at WhiteHouse.gov/LatinoTownHall.

SECRET SERVICE STREET CLOSURES - Motorcades and street closures are a fact of life when you live in in DC. But DC's Mayor says it's getting out of hand. D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Gray is calling on the US Secret Service reform it's rules for visiting dignitaries to ease what he says led to massive gridlock downtown that's paralyzed traffic recently. Big conferences and international meeting have brought a bevy of leaders here recently. Secret Service The Secret Service says it will review the closures and will meet with DC officials to talk about how they could do a better job, but in a . statement said they “makes every effort to minimize traffic disruptions."

MD GOVERNOR ADS LAUNCH - The "air war" starts today in the race to be the next Governor of Maepryland. Bothe Lt. Gov Anthony Brown and Atty. Gen Doug Gansler launch their first TV ads. Enjoy these while they last because later on they might get nasty. Although the race so far has been marked by bitter sniping, these first ads are mostly biographical 'feel good ' spots. Brown’s 60-second ad touts his work in public service, and deployment to Iraq in 2004 as an Army reservist. Gansler’s 60-second spot, hitting the air today Thursday, recaps his work as attorney general, with stories on how he fought polluters, banks and online predators.
