Carole Radziwill: How I Am On Camera Is How I Am Off Camera

Posted: Updated:

"Last season I think I cried...this season I scream and I must say screaming is really underrated."

Carole Radziwill is a busy woman. Besides shooting the new season of "The Real Housewives of New York", she's also promoting her new book "The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating". It's about a woman who decides to get back into the dating world after her husband dies...something Carole is all too familiar with.

"I wanted to write it, a book about sex and dating, in a more comedic way using my feelings a s a widow and I wasn't there yet. I started writing this ten years after my husband died and I'd already found by sense of humor about the absurdity of life and death."

That sense of humor is what Carole brings to her show, even if at times she's the only one laughing at herself.

"I feel like sometimes I'm on a comedy and everyone else is on a drama....when I committed to do the show, I committed to do it honest. My life's not perfect, I'm not pretending to be anything I'm not."

Carole will be signing copies of her book this Friday at Book Soup in West starts at seven.

Season six of The Real Housewives of New York premieres on Bravo March 11th.
