NEW OBAMACARE DELAY - If you like your sub-standard insurance, you can keep it? That's possible the result of a new delay set to be announced by the White House on the Affordable Care Act. Last fall the Administration allowed people with "sub-standard" policies to hold onto them because of the troubles rolling out Obamacare. But the one-year delay meant insurers must send out cancellation notices 90 days in advance. That would mean notices in the mail by Oct. 1, 5 weeks before the mid-term election. The White House could announce today it's extending the time people can hold onto their polices, and they hope tap down any voter backlash against Democrats next fall

FIRST BUDGET HEARING - 2:00 pm Remember all that talk last December about how both parties were putting their past differences aside to work together on the budget? Well we'll see today how nicely they get along with each other as the House Budget Committee today holds it's first hearing since the release of The White Houses 2015 Budget. Already it's looking like there's going to be fights. Republicans are dismissing the administrations new $3.9 trillion budget as nothing more than a Democratic blueprint for this fall's congressional campaigns. The White House yesterday sent lawmakers a 2015 budget top-heavy with provisions that have little chance of becoming law. Live Feed: Cannon House Building 210.

WAGE WARS - President Obama heads to Connecticut today to push his effort to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 but it's not clear Congress will go along. Maryland and DC have area fly been engaged in heated debated overnight raising the minimum wage, but nationally the issue has run into roadblocks in many states. Republicans have been in opposition to the idea, saying that increasing wages will lead to job losses for workers and higher prices for consumers. Supporters dismiss that argument saying putting more money in the pockets of employees, gives them more spendable income and that is good for the economy.

UKRAINE TWITTED DIPLOMACY - Twitter has stepped into the world of high-stakes diplomacy. Secretary of State John Kerry in Kiev had a meeting with the newly-elected Ukrainian Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatseniuk. Kerry's main point to Ukraine's interim government and to the Ukrainian people was of solidarity following Russia's occupation of the Crimea. A message publicized by the State Department on Twitter. Kerry tweeted a photo of himself laying flowers at the Shrine of the Fallen, a memorial for killed in last months protests when government forces of now-exiled President Viktor Yanukovych opened fire on protesters. The Social Media platform has become a soapbox for both sides
