ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey gambling regulators have fined two Atlantic City casinos a total of $26,500 for a series of violations including allowing underage patrons to gamble and drink, and filming a marriage proposal and broadcasting it on video monitors on the casino floor without letting authorities know in advance.

The state Division of Gaming Enforcement revealed the fines Tuesday.

The largest came against the Borgata, which was fined $24,000 for allowing an underage patron to gamble, and two underage patrons to drink.

The division also fined Revel $2,500 for not alerting it in advance to numerous events.

The most unusual involved the casino videotaping a marriage proposal on the casino floor.

That violated a rule requiring five days' advance notice to the division for any photography in gambling areas.
