Pontiac bank robbery suspect may have hit two banks

PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) -

Over the past week, two Pontiac banks have been robbed by a man with similar physical characteristics.

In both instances, the bank robber provided the teller with a note and threatened a gun.

One robbery occurred Feb. 26 at Genisys Credit Union on Woodward Avenue.

The other robbery occurred March 3 at the Bank of America branch on North Saginaw Street.

The FBI has approved a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual.
