Concerned citizens discuss removing George Cushingberry

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Cushingberry has only been on Detroit's City Council for about 2 months and he's been embroiled in controversy, the allegations almost too many to count. Several lawsuits have been filed against him. It would take at least a year to remove Cushingberry from office by petition and it's doubtful City Council members will boot him. But, Lee Gaddis says Cushingberry is just part of a larger problem, a lack of leadership in Detroit and an uninformed electorate that puts bad politicians in office.
