'Bowling for Dollars' participants finally see the money roll in

A local TV station recently relaunched the hit game show 'Bowling for Dollars'. As FOX 2's Rob Wolchek reported last week, some of the show's contestants say they bowled, they won - but never got paid.

Some people who worked on the show also say they haven't gotten paid.

But now the pay strike seems to be over -- and the participants say the dollars are finally rolling in.

"There were issues, there was some confusion. Things should've been done sooner. It should not have gotten to the stage it got to," says attorney William McHenry.

WADL-TV's owner, Kevin Adell, says, "As we stated in your news story, we conducted our investigation regarding the Bowling for Dollars show. Any confusion was caused by the Producer Gary May who was terminated for misconduct."

May says the station threw him under the bus, that he had no responsibility to pay people and did not understand why he was fired.

Adell also says all unpaid contestants and vendors have been paid.
