OBAMA & BOEHNER MEET - 11:00 a.m. It's a rare meeting between the President and the Speaker of the House when some deadline, ceiling or countdown isn't hanging on the balance of the outcome. Today though President will meet with Speaker John Boehner at the White House. The two have had an embattled relationship from the start, and it's unlikely today's meeting will produce any many new agreements or thaw between House Republicans and the White House. Later the President will deliver will announce new steps with the private sector to boost high tech high-quality jobs for the growing middle class requires.

MARYLAND DUMPS WEBMASTER - Maryland's troubled healthcare website has had problems from day one, but now it's cost the company hired to create the website it's contract. Maryland officials have announced that the state has ended its ties with Noridian Healthcare Solutions. The company was the primary contractor responsible for creating the troubled Maryland Health Connection. Noridian will be replaced by QSSI/Optum. Maryland’s new goal for new private health insurance enrollments through March 1, 2014 has been revised to 70,000. That's less than half of the previous the existing goal for private coverage signups of 150,000.

SHRINKING ARMY? - Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has unveiled a plan to shrink the Army to its smallest size since World War II. Hagel is looking to reshape the military after over a decade of war in Iraq and Afghanistan and roped in by fiscal constraints set by Congress.The plan unveiled Monday is already raising concerns by Republicans and Democrats. Congress agreed on an overall number for the military budget in 2015, at just under $500 billion, there are still major choices to be made on how those funds should be spent. The Army would shrink from 522,000 soldiers to between 440,000 and 450,000 making it the smallest since just before the U.S. entered World War II.

MENTAL HEALTHCARE HEARING - 10:00 a.m. When Gus Deeds stabbed his father Virginia St. Senator Creigh Deeds and then killed himself, it was another red flag of problems that exists in the access to mental healthcare.
