Wash. Ln. Fire Claims Home And Two Dogs

A family barely got out alive after a fire burned their home.

According to fire officials, the incident happened overnight at around 1 a.m. the 110 block of West Washington Lane in North Philadelphia.

According to authorities, two family dogs barked and alerted the family to fire. The family got out alive, but it is likely that the two dogs died in fire.

Officials also say that one brother was taken to hospital just to be checked for smoke inhalation. The Red Cross reported that they responded and will provide any assistance to the family.
