Two bicyclists injured after being hit by cars

Two woman bicyclists were injured after being by cars yesterday in Davidsonville, MD.

Anne Arundel County Police say around 5pm on Saturday, two woman were riding bikes on Central Avenue at Patuxent River Road when a car hit the first bicyclist, that car left the scene. That accident caused both bicyclists to crash into each other. Then, the second bicyclist was hit by another car, that car stayed on the scene.

Police are looking for the first car, a light colored Honda SUV, possibly silver or white, that failed to remain at the scene. It was last seen going west on Central Avenue into Prince Georges County. It was being driven by a white male, 50 to 60 years of age with a grey mustache and dark glasses.

The injured bicyclists are:

62 year old Lynn Carol Kristianson, 62, of Arlington, Virginia. She is in critical, but stable condition at University of Maryland Shock Trauma

52 year old Maile Catherine Neel of University Park, Maryland. She was treated and released from a hospital.
