This month marks the one-year anniversary of a life-changing day for Alexandria Police Officer Peter Laboy.
It was February 27, 2013 when police say Officer Laboy pulled over a taxicab. But that stop ended up changing his life after police say the cab driver shot him in the head.
Now this last year has been spent relearning almost everything, and while the road has been tough, Laboy is doing it with a smile on his face and the support of his family.
We had the opportunity to sit down with him on Friday and hear all about his progress. He also told us where he plans to go from here.
