FORESTVILLE, Md. -

One year later, the double murder of two teenagers from Prince George's County remains unsolved. Friends and relatives gathered at the parking lot where Aaron Kidd, 18, and Andre Shuford, 18, were gunned down and held an anniversary vigil.

The mother of Aaron Kidd is grief-stricken. Teresa Williams appealed to whoever is responsible to "turn yourself in, so me and my daughter and my son can have peace."

She also told the young crowd gathered there not to go out and seek revenge, and told them not to argue and fight.

The vigil was led by the youth pastor from the New Life Praise Temple Ministries, Marcellos Harris, who is a teenager himself. He called on the other teens at the memorial to pick their friends carefully.

Prince George's County police detectives returned to the scene with CrimeSolvers flyers. They were handed out by Kidd's mother.

If there is a motive or if there are any suspects, police aren't saying. Corporal Nate Lewis told reporters, "We don't have anything releasable. We want family and friends to know we have not forgotten about the victims."
