An Amber Alert for a 5-year-old Virginia girl has been canceled after authorities say she was found safe.  The Orange County Sheriff's Department says Amiyah Monet Dallas was reported missing Tuesday, and they believed she had been abducted by her aunt.

The child was last seen at 15239 Mountain Track Road in Orange, Virginia, but after that, there had been no contact with the little girl or her aunt, Olivia Nicole Dallas.

Further investigation by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Virginia State Police, led investigators to classify this case as an abduction.  Authorities believed the missing girl could be in imminent danger, and revealed that Olivia Dallas has a history of depression and drug use.

Shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Amber Alert was canceled after a Virginia State Police Trooper spotted Olivia Dallas' vehicle while on patrol in Accomack County.  The little girl was recovered safely, and her aunt was taken into custody without incident.  No other details about the abduction were immediately available.
