D.C. police say a man's body was discovered in southeast Washington on Wednesday morning.

The victim was discovered by a jogger just before 5 a.m. on Anacostia Drive SE under the 11th Street Bridge.

Police say the body was partially submerged in the river.  They say he appears to be in his 40s or 50s and he was fully clothed.

Authorities are still trying to determine how he died.  They say there was no apparent trauma to his body, and the case has been classified as a death investigation.
