His name is Romeo, but Prince William County police say he had anything but a happy Valentine's Day.  The 7-month-old puppy was hit by a car last Friday, and he now needs a complicated, expensive surgery to save his broken right leg.

The Prince William County Police Department posted Romeo's story on their Facebook page.  They're asking those who'd like to help to make a donation to the Prince William county Humane Society on their website.  Just put Romeo's name in the comment field.
