ATLANTA, Ga. -

Edward Ellson says he was only away from his car for a moment, but in a flash his vehicle and the priceless items inside it were taken.

Ellson, who is relocating to Atlanta, had stopped by an ATM and left his vehicle running Sunday. When he returned, the car was gone. The cremated remains of Ellson's father were inside the trunk of the 2012 Nissan Versa.

Among other items in the vehicle: his deceased brother's prized baseball glove.

Ellson admits he was caress to leave the vehicle unsecured and running, but is making a public plea for the return of the priceless family items.

The car carries a New Jersey tag: NJ: K67BJD. It is a black Nissan Versa.
