Family calls for changes after mom, unborn child dies

Posted: Updated:

A family is calling for changes to a Cherokee County intersection after the loss of a mother and unborn child.

Tiffany Robbins, 26, of Acworth was turning into Woodstock Road and pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle. She was seven months pregnant at the time. Despite being rushed to the hospital she and her unborn child died.

About 1,400 signatures have been collected to try to put in two stop signs at the location. Cherokee County officials say they will be getting together plans to make appropriate changes to the intersection.
