Weather Disrupts Valentine's Day Flower Deliveries

Posted: Updated:

Our February Nor'easter has disrupted deliveries of flowers for Valentine's Day.

Lots of flower deliveries are running late because of all the snow and ice.

Stein Your Florist Co. has a fleet of trucks making deliveries but some flowers won't arrive until Saturday.

"We've got 12 trucks hitting the road today, many with jumpers on the trucks to run the packages up to people's doors. Despite the weather, we're gonna be out there delivering all day," said Stein's Patrick Kelly.

Americans are expected to spend nearly $2 billion to "say it with flowers" this Valentine's Day.
