Police release sketch of Troy gas station gunman

TROY, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police in Troy have released a sketch of an unidentified man wanted for questioning in the murder of a Troy gas station clerk.

Police say Athir Putres, of Rochester, died of a gunshot wound to the head on Feb. 8. Witnesses discovered his body and were able to provide information on a possible suspect.

Police say the individual is described as an African-Amercan male between 40 and 50 years old. He stands approximately 5-foot-9 with a medium build and a mustache.

Police say he was last seen at the rear of the Clark Gas Station at Rochester and South Blvd. where Putres was fatally shot. Police say he was wearing a light gray, mid-length winter parka.
