This latest winter storm is having an impact on many people's plans for a romantic Valentine's Day.
A florist in Richmond has called off flower deliveries for Friday - his busiest of the year.
The store delivered as many orders as possible on Wednesday but said it just would not be safe to deliver flowers today due to the conditions.
"We just didn't feel that it was conscionable to keep taking orders when the weather conditions were so questionable," said Bill Gouldin, the owner of Strange's Florist in Richmond, Va.
His flower shop will however still be open for pickup orders.
