It was something different, something fresh and innovative. It was a band called The Beatles and they were poised to make history at the Washington Coliseum right here in our town.
And one 18-year-old boy fresh out of high school was there to capture it all.
FOX 5’s Tony Perkins had a chance to sit down with Mike Mitchell and talk about that night nearly 50 years ago.
He talked about the fan frenzy at Union Station when the band arrived, the night of the concert, and how he captured those historical shots.
