Police release images of suspect wanted in MSU student's murder

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WJBK) -

Investigators in East Lansing have released new images of a man suspected in the shooting death of a Michigan State student.

The shooting happened at the Cedar Village Apartments in the 200 block of Cedar Street on Friday, January 31st.

The suspect who is still on the run is described as a black male, approximately 6'1" to 6'3" tall, approximately 170lbs. At the time of the shooting the man, believed to be 20-25 years of age, was wearing a black hooded North Face winter jacket, tan pants and black shoes.

One of the images shows the man arriving at the complex while two others show him leaving.

One of the two victims, 20-year-old MSU sophomore Dominique James Nolff from Middleville, Michigan died of a gunshot wound on Saturday, February 1st. The second victim, a 20-year-old MSU student from Grand Haven was treated for a gunshot wound and released from the hospital.
