Philip Seymour Hoffman won an Oscar for his role in "Capote." It was just one of his many accomplishments on the big screen.
Hoffman, 46, was found dead Sunday in his New York City apartment from an apparent drug overdose.
Several empty envelopes believed to have contained heroin were also found nearby. Hoffman had a history of drug abuse.
An autopsy will be performed today.
