WASHINGTON -

D.C. police are investigating the double homicide of two people found fatally shot in a Southeast D.C. apartment.

The two victims have been identified as 21-year-old Ervin Phillip Ingraham of Southeast D.C. and 21-year-old Ronnetta Hurley-Brown of Southeast D.C.

Police say they received a 911 call just before 4 p.m. Thursday for a report of four unconscious people inside the apartment in the 1600 block of 17th Street.

Ingraham and Hurley-Brown were found dead suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Along with those two victims, two children were found alive. They were taken away from the home and into the custody of child protective services.

Family and friends who were at the scene say the Hurley-Brown was the mother of the two children. They also say Ingraham was her boyfriend and they all lived in the apartment together.

Police say they do not believe the killings were random.

There is no information on a suspect or a motive.

Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
