STATE OF THE DIS- UNION? When President Obama stands before Congress , he has some options on how to proceed. He could try and make peace with the Congress that has tried to block his every move. Or, he could throw down the gauntlet, call them out, point blame and plunge the two sides into even further discord. It's look like that The White House has chosen plan B. Early reports today on the President's State of the Union indicate it will be an in your face sidewinder, blaming Republicans for the problems of the past year, and setting up a national argument Democrats hope they can use to recapture the House in November's midterm elections. One of the Presidents guests will be DC's Teacher of the Year.

SUPER BOWL TRAFFICKING - 2:00 pm When the Super Bowl kicks off in New Jersey on Sunday, it will be the realization of not just the game preparations, but a massive security and logistical challenge for law enforcement.  But, the dark side of the Super Bowl week though will be on display up on Capitol Hill today. Lawmakers will hold a hearing detailing the efforts that are underway right now to combat human trafficking in NJ/NY area during Super Bowl week. The House Foreign Affairs Committee will hear testimony today from DHS & State Dept. witnesses and victims on the lessons.  The focus is on what been learned and what more needs to be done. CREIGH DEEDS SPEAKS - Former Virginia Gubernatorial candidate State Sen. Creigh Deeds says in the days before his son Gus stabbed him and then took his own life, Gus wrote Facebook messages saying that his father was the Devil and that Gus had to kill him so he could go to heaven. The revelation cam last night during Deeds first sit down interview with "60 Minutes". In November Deeds was attacked. In the emotional talk Deeds broke down, explaining how he intends to stay in public life to expand mental illness treatment access in Virginia.

STAMP PRICES RISE - Quick, how much is a stamp? Have trouble coming up with the answer? Chances are it's because you don't use them much anymore. As more people, shift to the internet to mail bills and keep in touch the US Postal Service is seeing its business drop creating a financial imbalance. USPS lost $5 billion last year and has been trying to get Congress to let it end Saturday delivery and reduce payments on retiree health benefits. Oh and that stamp price? From today on a stamp now will now cost you more. The cost of a first-class postage stamp is now 49 cents - 3 cents more than before
