WASHINGTON -

A dog stolen from a Northeast D.C. home has been found by D.C. police.

Margo, a two and a half year old female Cockapoo, was stolen Thursday night from Eric Peterson's home in Lincoln Park.

Along with Margo, several electronics including a television and a couple of iPads were taken from the home. The thieves also took a large container of dog food and a leash.

A friend of Peterson says police received a tip and found Margo, Peterson's belongings and the person who took the dog on Saturday.

After she was taken, Peterson was offering a $10,000 reward for her return.

"She wouldn't be home today if it wasn't for all the community support and all the people who were really focused on this story," Peterson said. "Thanks from the bottom of my heart and I'm so happy."
