If you just can't wait the nine months to hold your family's bundle of joy, a couple has an idea that gives you a sneak peak .

Gerard Bessette and his wife have formed 3D Babies.

They say they plan to turn an expectant mother's 3D or 4D ultrasound into fetal sculptures.

Families could choose various sizes, up to 8 inches tall. They can customize the baby's skin tone and have it in various positions.

They say they'll create 'an adorable' baby figurine resembling the baby's facial features and then use 3D printing technology to create the doll.

They'd cost anywhere from $200 to $600 and the 'baby' would arrive in an comfortable satin-lined box.

The Bessettes need $15,000 to buy a Stratasys printer. So far they have raised $1,225.
