Light snow possible in North Georgia

Posted: Updated:

Prepare to bundle up tonight – especially if you're in the northern part of the state. North Georgia might see some light bands of snow move through!

FOX 5 Storm Team Meteorologist Jeff Hill says overnight temperatures will be just below freezing with a slight chance of flurries.

Any accumulation of snow would be less than a half inch mostly in elevated and grassy areas.

Travel on Sunday morning through north Georgia should be limited.

Highs on Sunday will only reach the upper 40s, but temperatures will rise again by Monday.
