TRENTON, N.J. -

Some people have turned to one of New Jersey's most iconic musicians and Governor Christie's personal favorite to make fun of "Bridgegate."

They are changing Bruce Springsteen lyrics to fit the scandal. Here's one by Jeff Edelstein from The Trentonian:

Now it's time to leave, have to ditch this zip code
No time for goodbyes, Jimmy just had to go.
So he got in his Chevy and he lightened his load.
Stomped on the gas and cruised down the road.
But Jimmy didn't know about Bridget Kelly
And Jimmy didn't know about Bill Baroni.
Jimmy tried to get out, but oh can't you see.
It's time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.

There's also a hashtag for jokes on twitter: #christiespringsteenlyrics

Comedian Joel Stein wrote, "The magic rat drove his sleek machine/ over the Jersey state line/ wondering why there's so much mid-day traffic."

Mark f wrote, "Got a wife & kids in Baltimore, Jack/Chris Christie made sure I never got back."

Rebecca Traister wrote, "there's girls melting on the beach…so fine but so out of reach/cause I'm stuck in traffic thanks to this guy."

Noah Petro wrote, "Born To Idle,"

Finally, Maybe not Simon Cott wrote, "(Traffic backed up to) The Streets of Philadelphia."

Adam Weinstein wrote, "Dancing in the Dark (Even Though I left The House in Ft. Lee Well Before Sundown)."
