Flu drug Tamiflu in short supply

Posted: Updated:
The liquid form of the flu drug Tamiflu is in short supply.

The drug is designed for young children who can't swallow capsules.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the drug maker has fallen behind on production.

The shortage does not include the capsule form of Tamiflu and should be resolved within a week,.

The FDA says flu vaccines also remain widely available and are unaffected by shortages.
