PHILADELPHIA -

This morning, there's new surveillance video in a deadly hit and run in Philadelphia's Penrose section.

It happened Monday night at around 6:15 p.m. at Island Avenue and Lindbergh Boulevard. Police found 70-year-old Leslie Smith lying in the middle of the intersection. Smith died at the hospital. The striking vehicle did not stop, and instead, fled the scene, continuing Southbound toward the airport.

Police have released surveillance video of the car in question. It's a red, possibly two-door vehicle with a black top. The passenger side wheel cover is also missing, surveillance seems to show.
