PGPD investigates Riverdale bank robbery

RIVERDALE, Md. -

The Prince George’s County Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted for a bank robbery.

Around 10 a.m. on January 3, the pictured suspect walked into the Wells Fargo Bank in the 6200 block of Baltimore Ave in Riverdale, Maryland.

He approached a teller and demanded cash while implying he was armed with a weapon. The teller complied, and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The pictured suspect is described as a black male in his 50s, approximately 5’10” and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black jacket, and dark jeans.
