SnapChat Hackers Leak Usernames, Phone Numbers

Posted: Updated:

SnapChat is investigating a breach of security of its popular mobile messaging app.

The company says nearly 4 million usernames and phone numbers were leaked online Tuesday night.

Investigators are trying to track down the hackers.

SnapChat is a messaging app that lets users post photos that quickly disappear.

It's popular with teens, which has raised concerns it could make younger users vulnerable to child predators if their photos land in the wrong hands.
