CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith may be headed back to the sidelines.

NFL Network says Smith is the top candidate to become the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There's also talk the Bucs may be interested in former Bears general manager Jerry Angelo.

Smith was a linebackers coach for Tampa Bay back in the 90's. He was fired by the Bears last season.
