CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man who robbed an Edgewater neighborhood bank Thursday is suspected of robbing the same bank in October, and a third bank in north suburban Evanston in September.

The robbery happened Thursday at a TCF Bank inside of a Jewel-Osco grocery store, at 5343 N. Broadway, about 4:50 p.m. when the suspect walked in and passed a note to a teller demanding cash from the drawer, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.

After getting an unknown amount of money, the suspect then fled west through the doors of the grocery store and proceeded to flee northbound on Broadway, O'Brien said.

The suspect is described as a 20-30 year old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 150-200 pound white man, O'Brien said. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a tan scarf, a black 3 3/4-length coat and black sunglasses.

The man is suspected of robbing the same bank on Oct. 2 and a Chase Bank, at 901 Grove St. in Evanston, on Sept. 6, according to the FBI's Bandit Tracker website.

Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (312) 421-6700. A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
