Police Looking For Delaware Credit Card Fraud Suspects

Posted: Updated:
DELMAR, Del. -

Detectives are asking the public for help identifying four people who made purchases using stolen credit card information.

The investigation began after victims in Pennsylvania noticed unauthorized charges on their credit cards from transactions in Delmar, Seaford, and Salisbury, Md. The victims still had their credit cards in their possession, police say.

Detectives found that the victims' credit card information was stolen and used to make cloned credit cards, which, when used, transmit the victims' credit card information. Video surveillance of two of the purchases shows four suspects.

If anyone has any information about the suspects' identities, they are asked to contact the Troop 4 Financial Crimes Unit at 302-856-5850 extension 257.

You can also call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, go to www.tipsubmit.com, or send an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
