Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Not only was Santa Claus watching when this duo was caught on tape, police say, taking down Christmas decorations in South Philadelphia. So was a nearby surveillance camera.

South Detectives are asking for the public's help to identify them, and not just for the naughty list.

According to police, it was 2:15 a.m. on Nov. 26 when a woman was caught on surveillance video approaching a residence on the 1100 block of Fitzgerald Street and taking Christmas decorations from the front of the residence.

Police say it was an hour later when the woman returned and, with the assistance of a man, took more decorations from the same house.

After grabbing the decorations, both left the area in an unknown direction, police said.

The woman is described as having dark hair and wearing a white, hooded coat and dark-colored pants.

The man has dark hair and wore a dark-colored, hooded jacket and a dark-colored, hooded jacket.

Police say if you see these suspects do not approach them; call 9-1-1. To submit a tip, call 215-686-TIPS (8477), text to PPD TIP (773847), or use this electronic form to submit anonymously.
