Bomb threat reported at Phoenix Walmart; store evacuated

PHOENIX -

Phoenix Police say a bomb threat was called in to the Walmart store located near 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road Friday.

It was a big scare for hundreds of shoppers after they were asked to drop their items and evacuate the store after someone called to say there was a bomb inside.

Police searched the entire store and found no explosives inside.

The store has since re-opened and no injuries were reported.

Investigators are looking into finding the person who made the call.
